Meet Carina
I am a birth doula in Upington, South Africa. I offer support during pregnancy - both emotional and physical. I help parents make informed decision and to find the beauty that is bringing a little life into this world.

I offer ongoing pregnancy support, labour support where I use tools such as massage, positioning, aromatherapy and so much more.

I also offer workshops that prepare parents for labour, delivery, and what to expect postpartum. I also offer care for parents who have suffered, or are suffering miscarriage, stillbirth or any other complications.
Prenatal Support and Birthing Guidance
HERE FOR YOU
Get extra personal support throughout the entirety of your birthing journey. As a Doula, I promise to offer unwavering support to you and your family before, during, and after birth. I will stay in close contact in order to routinely check how you’re doing and offer any support needed. I will prepare you for this amazing experience, and be there for you and your partner and offer guidance and help whenever you need me. I also offer support for couples going through miscarriage and stillbirth.
Postpartum Support
OFFERING SUPPORT
From our initial meeting all the way through your pregnancy and delivery, I take the time to get to know you, your concerns and your needs. I’m always available to contact by phone/email throughout and will provide everything you require to make sure your experience is as calm and positive as possible. I will help prepare you for life postpartum and help you work through all the speedbumps.
Workshops
INFORMATIVE AND COMPASSIONATE
One on one or group classes that help parents understand pregnancy, natural birth and surgical birth, breastfeeding, postpartum and so much more. We train birth partners in how to help the labouring person, how to support them, and how to look after themselves too. We teach the birthing person how to cope with pain, and with all possible scenarios so they can know what to expect, and to be fully equipped for a very beautiful, life-changing experinece.
Distance Doula Services
We provide distance doula services for parents who either do not have a doula in their area, cannot afford the full cost of a doula, or prefer to just have support throughout their pregnancy and no assistance during birth. Babywearing Consultations
ALL THEY NEED IS LOVE
An essential part in making life post partum easier and beautiful. Carrying your child (newborn or toddler) is highly beneficial in helping them know that when they need comfort and love, their carer is always there. Unlike contrary belief, it helps little ones becaome strong and independant little individuals. It gives the carer the opportunity to have their hands free for daily tasks, or looking after other children. And who can push a pram and a trolley at the same time? We help parents and guardians find the perfect carrier for their needs, and we also sell and rent out our carriers to help make parenting easier and more blissful. Baby cuddles all round!
